Ann Shirley - From a child I have had an interest in art, and have continued to learn through various art classes and local authority courses.  I love to experiment with different techniques and mediums, but my favourites are oil and acrylic.  About 20 years ago I attended Brooklands College for a part-time Foundation Course in Art,  which I enjoyed immensely. I have been very fortunate in having some wonderful tutors, and Walton Art Club has had a significant part to play in the constant support and encouragement from its members.  Being in the company of like-minded and enthusiastic people makes all the difference. I enjoy painting landscapes and flowers in acrylic and watercolour. I have attended local authority classes over the last few years and have been a member of Walton Art Club for about four years
