Exhibition Entries – Not Long to Go!

Looking at the database, it’s shaping up to be a bumper exhibition, with a fantastic number of entries already coming in! If you haven’t entered yet, it’s time to get your skates on!
The exhibition entry portal closes at midnight on Sunday 1st November, so there’s not much time left to finalise your artwork entries, choose your stewarding times and sign up for jobs.
Don’t forget, you can still go back and edit your entries right up until the deadline, including changing titles and prices, so there’s time to get everything just right.
A successful exhibition takes a bit of effort from all of us, and the more everyone gets involved, the better it will be!
Need a hand with entering your artwork? Just ask at the club this Thursday. We’ll be happy to help.

Help Us Fill Our Exhibition Hampers!
For each exhibition, Lesley kindly organises our raffle, with those lovely, tempting hampers that are always such a popular prize! She fills them with all the goodies generously donated by our members.
The money raised from the raffle helps towards the running costs of the club, which in turn helps us keep our costs down for everyone. So, your contributions really do make a difference!
Please bring along your donations this week or next week. Have a think about what you’d love to find in your ideal hamper. The more tempting and enticing we can make them, the more raffle tickets we’re likely to sell!
Every little contribution helps, so let’s see if we can put together some really irresistible hampers. Thank you for your generosity and support!
Getting Your Artwork Exhibition-Ready
Not sure how best to frame and present your artwork for the exhibition? Help is at hand!
Ian has put together a presentation covering all the key points to help you get your work looking its best and ready to hang in an exhibition.
He’ll be showing it at the club this Thursday, so if you’re unsure about framing, presentation or how to give your work that professional finish, **make sure you catch Ian’s presentation!**
It’s a great opportunity to pick up some useful tips and make sure your artwork is looking its very best for the exhibition.
Members’ Workshops on Club Evenings
We’re lucky to have such a talented bunch of artists in our club, each with their own skills, ideas and approach to making art. We already enjoy those informal chats over a cup of tea, sharing tips, ideas and things we’ve discovered along the way — so why not take this a little further?
Lorelei has been busy recruiting, and we’re delighted that Kathy and Noel have agreed to run some workshops for us during our regular club evenings.
We’ll be kicking things off with Kathy — take a look at the picture to get an idea of what’s coming!
If you’d like to take part, there will be a small charge to cover materials and equipment.
